Since coloured hair seems to be the in-thing and Chris Brown helped to debut the rainbow hair colour trend, might as well rock it all the way, case in point, your wedding day!

No one said you have to look like your mum or sister, or even your besty on your big day.

The whole point is looking unique and different right?

Well this festive style, created and modeled by hair pro Sarah Potempa, may just be one of the best bridal DIY's ever!

"For this look, I asked my son to help me style it," Sarah notes. "This was one of my favorite looks to create because it was different and fun. We used a temporary chalk and fun colored bobby pins to add flair to my faux bob. This is nontraditional and just for someone who loves to color outside the lines!"

So if you are feeling daring for your big day, (you might want to ask your groom to be first though, so he doesn't run off screaming), here are five easy steps to achieving this look.

Step one

Create a side part, and add fun colored bobby pins.

Step two

Pull hair through a band, pinch it closed, and slide it down toward the ends.

Step three

Roll hair under until you reach the back of your neck, and pin it in place.

Step four

Use a temporary hair chalk to color the ends of any loose strands.

Step five

Enlist someone, from your besty to your little niece, Sarah tapped her 4-year-old son, to help add some blue hair chalk!

And there you have a fun, festival look. Here comes the bride!
