Bride holds wedding photoshoot alone after fiancé dies in car accident

Lauren's best friend Emily and photographer pal Stephanie Jarstad had suggested that she do a memorial photoshoot in her wedding dress to celebrate late Tristin's life

20-yr-old Lauren Reynolds' life was torn in pieces a month before her wedding when she received the news that her fiancé, Tristin Woods had died in a car accident.

Months after his passing, Lauren's best friend Emily and photographer pal Stephanie Jarstad had suggested that she do a memorial photoshoot in her wedding dress to celebrate late Tristin's life and the love they shared.

"The day I found out Tristin passed away was the worst day of my life," the grieving bride told Huffington Post.

The emotional photoshoot finally took place in March which Reynolds posted on Jarstad's photography website accompanying it with a blog post.

"On October 11, I didn’t just lose Tristin, I lost the life we’ll never live together, I lost all of the children we’ll never have and all of the grandchildren we’ll never get to spoil, all of the mornings to wake up to my husband’s smiling, loving face. I lost my other half," the post read.

Tristin and Lauren met in December 2013 at a church dinner. He was 17 at the time of his death and would have turned 18 on his wedding day.

"I was walking to my car, and he said, ‘Hey wait. I just wanted to tell you that you are the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen, "I felt like I was in a movie. It was just perfect,” she recounted in the video shoot done in memory of her late fiance.

"Tristin and I fell in love right away, there was no doubt in our minds that we wanted to be together for the rest of our lives. So we got engaged July 11, 2014 -- seven months after we met. We knew that marriage was the next step for us and there was no point in waiting until we were older. We had a good support system and we were in love, so it was an easy decision for us, " Lauren told Huffington Post.
