Patience is indeed a virtue, and those who wait long enough always end up with the best. That is the story of Temitayo Oluwapelumi Ojo and Oluwagbemileke Oluwagbemiga Jaiyesimi.

The couple tied the knot on February 7, 2015, at the Bishop Adekunle Howells Memorial Church, Surulere, Lagos.

Like every relationship, theirs also went through some ups and downs, but it has finally ended in a happy married life.

Temi and Leke met in school while they were both studying at the Lagos State University (LASU). They had a long distance relationship that lasted for nine years, as she resides in Lagos while he lived in Abuja.

For those who think long distance relationship is a waste of time - think again. It surely works, and this couple are the perfect example of that. Their journey into marital bliss was professionally captured by Wedding DiaryNG.

Speaking about their relationship, Temi said: "I've been with Gbemileke for about nine years... nine years and a half. And he's been the sweetest person I've ever met.

"I can say he's my one true love because we've been together from way, way back. I love Gbemileke, not because he's good looking, or because he's ambitious. I love him because he's more like a brother to me, I can easily talk to him and he's so understanding.

"I mean, it's been nine years, and it's been a most memorable journey that I would never trade for anything. I love him with all my heart."

On his part, Leke has this to say: "I just remember the first time I saw you (Temi), something in me told me you're the one. I love you, I love you very much and I'm glad you stayed with me all these years.

"I'm actually surprised you stuck to me (sic) all these years, and I feel really, really honoured and really, really humbled, and really, really priviledged that you can spend a part of your life with me. And what's even better, you're sharing the rest of it with me."
