Location matters when you are looking for a house to rent. The location of a house can determine if the price of a house will be very expensive or affordable.

So you need to look for a location that you fill is conducive, serene enough and also affordable at the same time.

Not only should you consider the serenity of the location, you should also see how close it is to work and how easy it is to navigate your way around from that location.

3. Save more by getting a roommate

Another way you can save on rent is to get a roommate. two or more people can split the house rent.

For instance, if a two bedroom flat cost two hundred thousand naira, you can look for someone who is also interested in getting a house.

You two can come together to take the house together and split the bill.

So instead of paying two hundred thousand naira for the whole house, you just pay a hundred thousand naira which has saved you more money.
