There are a myriad of ways to mix and match nuts. So instead of fumbling around with ingredients at grocery store, we'll make it simple for you with this delicious recipe from the Men's Health The New Abs Diet Cookbook.

Preparation time takes about an hour. Most of that time will be spend with mix in the oven leaving your home with a sweet aroma, and once it's done, the taste will be just as good as the smell.

Serve this mix at parties, tailgates, or family functions and seal leftovers into resealable bags so you can enjoy at work or stash a bag or two in your car. You'll be glad you did when you're stuck at your desk or in traffic.

What You'll Need:

  • 1 cup pumpkin seeds

  • 1 tsp canola oil

  • 1 cup whole almonds

  • 1 cup pecan halves

  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice

  • 1/2 tsp sea salt

  • 1 cup dried cranberries

How To Make It:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.

  3. Put the pumpkin seeds in a bowl and coat with the oil.

  4. Spread the seeds on the baking sheet and roast for about 20 minutes, stirring several times.

  5. Place the pumpkin seeds, almonds, and pecans in a medium bowl and stir in the maple syrup to coat.

  6. Mix the cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice,and salt in a small bowl.

  7. Add to the nuts and stir well.

  8. Spread the mixture on the baking sheet and roast for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until dry. Check often to avoid burning.

  9. Cool in pan for 20 minutes.

  10. Place the mix in the bowl and stir in the cranberries.
