This couple's reaction to getting busted during sex in the car is legendary
The police report does not note whether or not Puttkemery finished.
On Monday, Bailey Puttkemery, 21, and Emily Scott, 20, of Wisconsin found their answer. Officer A. Westpfahl of the La Crosse County Sheriff's Office reportedly responded to a 9-1-1 call about someone "suspiciously looking into cars" and—following the sounds of moaning—allegedly found Puttkemery and Scott fully nude, engaged in an gratuitous act of carnal desire in the back of a car (a gold Pontiac Grand Am, for what it's worth).
The couple was apparently loud enough to wake up neighbors (clearly, they've embraced wild and loud sex).
According to Westpfahl's official police report, he did what cops usually do in these situations: told them to break it up and put their clothes back on, before walking away to give them some privacy.
But when the officer walked back up to the car, he allegedly found Puttkemery and Scott back at it again. He told them again to stop, and Puttkemery decided it was time to make a stand.
"No, bro, I'm trying to fuck," he reportedly told Westpfahl, and the car started rocking again. The officer and sex-haver engaged in a brief tug-of-war with the car door, which eventually got Puttkemery out of the vehicle—although he continued to admonish the officer for ruining his night.
“You’re a man, you should understand, it's Oktoberfest weekend,” Puttkemery allegedly said, before telling Westpfahl that the cop was "cockblocking him" and "giving him blue balls.” Westpfahl, who was probably in the middle of a night he'll never forget, tried to get Puttkemery to put on some pants. “It’s just a dick, nothing to be afraid of,” the young lover said.
Scott, for her part, reportedly assured Westpfahl the act was mutually consensual, and that the couple didn't stop because Puttkemery "wanted to finish."
What would you do in the couple's situation? Well, we asked you. Men's Health polled more than 2,800 Twitter users on what they'd do if a cop caught them having sex in a parked car. As of publication time, the two options were neck and neck: 48 percent said they'd obey orders and stop, and 52 percent said they'd ignore orders and finish. Bold!
As for Puttkemery and Scott, they were both arrested. He was charged with lewd and lascivious behavior and disorderly conduct, while Scott was arrested for lewd and lascivious behavior and bail jumping (as she had an outstanding bond), but local prosecutors eventually decided not to file charges.
