However, the team over at Clover, a dating app, put together an infographic furnished by data from their user base of more than 3 million people and the interactions between them. Using this information, they were able to key in on some insights that may help you shape your next first move.

Clover determined the emojis that may be the best for you to use for the opening message of a conversation. They even put together a handy infographic to visualize it for us. As you scroll through, you can see what the major no-nos are between men and women.

For women, the "phallic eggplant," the flex, the clap, and the fist bump are the emojis that make them the least likely to reply. But if you're looking for the right one to pick, they've provided 12 options that garnered the most responses—heart eyes, tongue, and sun face among them. Men, on the other hand, hate to see women send them the Vulcan salute, the ring, the crying face, and the poop emoji. Is anyone surprised?
