Sometimes, the generational gap between grandparent and grandchild can feel too significant to bridge. Issues like social media, increasing social liberalization, and the decay of certain cultural norms all contribute to this divide.

However, it's certainly not an insurmountable problem; the bonds of family are indeed hard to break. But, if you're looking for a way to further strengthen those ties, well, maybe you should consider smoking weed with your grandmother.

The latest episode of Cut Video's Strange Buds makes a compelling case.

In the clip, this grandson not only introduces his grandmother to marijuana by helping her smoke it for the first time ever, he also shamelessly asks some pretty revealing questions about her; the kind that probably wouldn't just come up at a family dinner.

"Have you ever watched pornography, Grandma?" he asks.

"Yep, yep!" She quickly replies, before going into detail about the covert order of operations she would follow to make sure her illicit viewing habit wasn't found out. "I didn't tell Grandpa!"

"What the f***?!" he says, shocked.

"Once you know what happens to people, you have to think about it," she laughs. Weird? Absolutely. But, also, it's somewhat touching, right?

And, even if you'd rather not think about your grandmother watching porn, you can't argue that knowing something so scandalous about her helps to break down any walls of communication and awkwardness that may otherwise impede honest conversation.
