This workout from Scottsdale, Arizona-based trainer Jeremy Scott is only two exercises and 5 minutes long, but it packs a serious punch.

The bench hop over provides a fat-burning aerobic burst and puts your core and shoulders to work.

You’ll leave the bench panting, but there’s no time for rest as you hit the sliding pushup.

Your core, chest, and shoulders will be crying for mama. But what makes this move different from your ordinary pushup is the control required to strengthen and stretch your muscles through greater ranges of motion.

That makes these pushups great for upper-body mobility as well.
