As summer comes to an end, you're probably getting your last few backyard barbecues in. And what's better to serve at a barbecue than spicy, smoky jerk pork kebabs?

They only take 15 minutes to prepare and cook, and they're packed with nutrients like protein, and Vitamins A and C. So eat up. (And for more easy-to-make, healthy recipes, check out the Metashred Diet from Men's Health.)

What You Need:

  • 12 oz pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks

  • 1 red bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 1 large onion, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 1/2 cup prepared jerk sauce

How to Make It:

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan over high heat.

  2. Assemble the kebabs by skewering pieces of pork, pineapple, pepper, and onion, alternating as you go.

  3. Brush with 1/4 cup of the jerk sauce and place on the hot grill. Grill for 4 minutes on each side, basting with the remaining 1/4 cup of the jerk sauce. The kebabs are done when the vegetables are lightly charred and the pork is firm to the touch.

Per serving: 436 calories, 38g protein, 58g carbs (5g fiber), 4g fat
