Following her forceful eviction and physical assault, an Abuja Based Businesswoman has dragged the Veteran Musician Onyeka Owenu to Court.

The popular Nigerian singer has been dragged to court over accusations of assault.

Mrs Olajoke Adesipe who deals in textiles, petitioned the Human Rights Commission after she was forcefully removed and physically assaulted by people who claimed they were acting on the orders of Onyeka Owenu who is the DG of The National Centre For Women Development.
In her letter, Mrs adesipe explains how she was beaten and dragged on the ground, her phone was confiscated because she had snapped the scene, her bags and clothes torn, all courtesy of Onyeka Owenu's directives.
She explained in her letter how she would have honoured the vacation letter given to her if a reallocation letter had been issued. This was because her rent was still valid. She also claims that her shop was forcefully opened, and her wares thrown out.
Is it really Possible that Onyeka Owenu ordered the assault on this woman?
Could she really be capable of such an act?
