Ahead of the 2016 Olympics games taking place in August, Brazilian officials have waived visa requirements for United States and Canadian citizens.
Brazil lifts visa requirements for US, Canadian citizens
Australian and Canadian citizens will also benefit from the waiver, which was done in a bid to increase foreign tourism for the games.

So rather than apply and pay a $160 (about N32,000) visa fee, tourists will be able to enter the country and stay for up to 90 days without the visa.
The 2016 Olympics games are set to hold in Rio de Janeiro from August 5th-21st.
