The lessons are taught by Yetunde Ayeni-Babaeko and she started them in August 2016. Ayeni-Babaeko is a fashion and advertising photographer who enjoys making behind-the-scenes footages of her projects.
Due to an overwhelming number of inquiries from laymen and novices about photography and how to become a professional photographer, she tried to organise training sessions.

However, it was difficult to organise the sessions on a regular basis, as a result, 'Photorials with YAB' was born. Photorials with YAB is a series of online video trainings designed to help novices who have any questions about photography.
While there are many photography tutorials online, there aren't really any created in Nigeria. As such, most of them are not really relatable to a Nigerian audience.
This is what makes Photorials with YAB great for Nigerians, for example, she has taught how to shoot the portrait of a woman wearing big gele.
The tutorial videos are available on Youtube and a new video is released bi-weekly.
