It's no news that Dubai has over time, positioned itself as a tourist's haven and now the Middle Eastern nation is set to take things to a new level with the unveiling of its whooping $2.8 billion Dubai Parks & Resorts theme park.

The attractions will reportedly open in October, later this year.
Speaking on the project, officials at Dubai Parks & Resorts say they hope to attract 20 million visitors by 2020, calling it "the ultimate year-round international tourist destination."
Describing further, the park's website describes the the budding tourist attraction as "where the best of the east meets the best of the west to create a world of fun and adventure unlike any other"
Dubai is no stranger to iconic tourist spots boasting the Burj Khalifa which is the tallest building in the world, and is touted as the world's most luxurious hotel.
Also, it's airport is one of the largest in the world, and holds the current record for number of international travelers arriving, departing or passing through the airport.
