In case you missed that edition, here is how it happened...
10 contestants were asked to make breakfast with Blue band margarine, Bread, Potatoes, Eggs, Banga, Pork and Knorr chicken in 25 minutes and as usual different approaches in execution.
Damilola’s decision did not go down well with the judges who obviously expected more than the ‘diagonal’ cutting of bread and was only saved just because other contestants performed worse than he did just the same way Emmanuel’s toast and soup saved him yet another time.
On Ruqayat’s performance, Chef Fregs told her she might need to improve.
According to him, “You’ve torn your safety net long enough. I think you are becoming a weight to the ship and we may need to let you go if you don’t improve.”
The three stars for the day were Gbenga, Nahvi and Phoebe, whose performance earned them the place of the first three, with Nahvi winning N20, 000 shopping voucher from Shoprite as the overall best in class for the day. It is important to note that Nahvi and Phoebe were among the bottom three in previous edition.
As for Oluwaseun, his anxieties to do too much made him end up as, “The excessively over-seasoned one,” he was saved anyway, leaving Moronfolu and Hirhyel as bottom two. The quest for the seasoned one gets hotter on Knorr Taste Quest 4 and you cannot afford to miss the actions.
