1. Watermelon
Watermelons are best stored outside the fridge. Once refrigerated, they tend to break down and become powdery and grainy. So to keep the flavour intact, melons need to be stored at room temperature. However, after cutting, you should store the melons in the fridge for three to four days. Besides according to a USDA research, storage at room temp might help keep the antioxidants more intact.

5. Bread
When left at room temperature for too long, bread can growth mould, but refrigeration will dry it out. So, if you've got more bread than you can finish, you can store in the refrigerator, but be sure to toast it the next time you want to eat it, that way you'd easily enjoy the crunchy taste that comes with a sandwich.
6. Honey
Refrigerating will cause honey to harden. It's best stored at room temperature and out of direct sunlight.
7. Fruits
Fruits like apple, banana, avocado, orange, lemon, nuts and a bunch of others shouldn't be stored in the fridge because it will result in loss of flavours and textures.
