Live Theatre on Sunday brings back romantic musical drama

Majmua Theatre in alliance with Live Theatre on Sunday and returns Band Aid to TerraKulture.

Band Aid, an amazing romantic musical drama written by Abiodun Kassim which premiered in May, 2014 makes a huge comeback to the theatre.

Staged on Sunday November 1st 2015, the play is a beautiful story of love and music about 3 band mates, connected by their love for music.

Band Aid featured the crème-de-la-crème of Nigerian theatre including Toyin Oshinnaike (Sekere), Toju Akiya Ejoh (Ralph), Patrick Diabuah( Flex), Femi Leye (Tony), Tosin Gregory (Flex), Victor Godfrey, Goodness Emmanuel, Ahide Adum and others.

The production which is a collaboration between Majmua Theatre, Live Theatre on Sunday and TerraKulture has been described as one of the best thing to happen to stage play and theatre in Nigeria.

The show continues next week Sunday, November 8th , 2015 and promises to be another exciting time at the Theatre.

This is not their first attempt at reviving stage plays in Nigeria, Early this year, The Live theatre on Sunday celebrated Nobel laureate Wole Soyinka 17th play titled 'King Baabu' at the Unity Centre in Ikeja GRA, Lagos as it recaptures the tumultuous era of military rule in Nigeria.
