When it comes to food and lifestyle of any Nigerian University student, the struggle is indeed real.

With so many classes to attend, assignments as well as mini group projects to carry out, there's barely time to even think of a proper meal, not to think preparing it.

Luckily enough, some food comes in handy, thanks to the already made nature of some of these foods and the punctuality food vendors in some other cases.

Here are 5 of such foods every Nigerian student can definitely relate to.

1. Bread and egg

This combination, popularly referred to as risky, is being prepared by vendors by the roadside or around certain locations in the school.

The egg(s) is flat-fried with seasonings and veggies and then spread in the middle of the bread and the bread is further fried, making it crunchy on the outside.

Bread and egg is mostly sold at night, making it a perfect dinner just before you step out for an overnight class reading.

2. Noodles

Like bread and egg, noodles is also sold by the vendors but can be made easily.

Noodles is one of the fastest meal to make, which makes it easy for just anyone to cook, including those who cannot cook up a nice meal. It is definitely safe to say that noodles have been saving Nigerian students lives since forever.

3. Garri

With a good number of stores in most campus, grabbing a pack of sugar, groundnut and cold water isn't much of a problem which makes it easier to feast on a bowl of garri.

4. Concotion rice and egg

Next to noodles being the fastest and easiest thing to cook while in school is concoction rice. Concoction rice is pretty much straight forward to the point.

With concoction rice, all you need to do is combine all the ingredients together in a bowl, pour it into a pot of oil, add some water and cook the rice, pretty straight forward.

Most student always prepare concoction rice in excess so that it can serve them the whole day.

5. Watery Beans

Beans is mostly eaten by guys.

Most times, they form a group (say all the boys in a room), cook and eat the beans together.

Unlike most Nigerian female students who dislike cooking and eating together with themselves, the guys are totally cool with it. That's probably what makes their beans so interesting to munch.

Which of these foods didn't you eat as a student?
