Victor Ndigwe was just like any other aspiring model in Nigeria, until his story changed in 2014 after he won the Aquafina Elite Model Look competition in Nigeria in 2014. Now, he’s been named one of the 7 new male models to watch out for by Vogue.

Victor Ndigwe had tried in 2012 but didn’t get a chance at the Elite Model look and then he got his big break in 2014, winning the competition alongside Mayowa Nicholas.

From then he has modeled in Milan, walking  for Ermenegildo Zegna and Missoni, as the first ever Nigerian male model to do so. After that he went on to Paris, where he made walked for brands including Hermès, Balmain, Kenzo and Haider Ackermann!

In speaking to Vogue, Victor said, "I want to inspire other models that have dreams the same way I had them. I just want to be a good example."

He has gone on to a Missoni campaign alongside Freja Beha Erichsen; and he is on the edge of stardom. He's 19 years-old,  studying Applied Mathematics and getting super stardom.

We wish Victor all the best as he continues in his career.
