Black girls Rock, the yearly annual celebration of black women took place earlier this year in NYC, with a lot of celebrities in attendance. However, we couldn’t help but notice host, Tracee Ellis Ross in a Duro Olowu number.
The awards show like no other, which is a partnership between BET and Black Girls Rock showcases and celebrates the achievements of black women and amongst this year’s honorees were Rihanna, Gladys Knight, and Shonda Rhimes and many more.
But, when the show aired on Tuesday night on BET, we saw 43 year old, daughter of Diana Ross steal the show as host in quite a few stylish pieces, especially one by famous Nigerian designer, Duro Olowu.
The gown was a long sleeved black pleated floor length design. It featured sheer panels as well as flowery patterns all over, in addition to a high neck and belt. The Blackish actress wore the gown which had buttons from the top all the way to the bottom, unbuttoned from the bottom to her thighs, creating a high slit.
She completed her look with a cropped fringed bob, orange hoop earrings and lovely makeup. What do you think of the star actress’ look? Let us know below.
