Rhoda Ebun is one of the fastest rising fashion stylist and consultants in the Nigerian fashion industry, and the owner of Roses and Thorns fashion company, starting only four years ago.

Rhoda has come a long way, styling top celebrities such as Dakore Egbuson and Bolanle Olukanni for Moments with 'Mo. Here are five things we learned from her:

Style mantra:

For Ebun she declares that “comfort is key.” In addition, comfort and confidence go hand in hand, because when you are comfortable, you are confident and when you are confident, you are comfortable.

She’s no newbie:

She advises young and upcoming stylists to learn as much as they possibly can before they kick off. She herself attended fashion school in Nigeria and in the UK, while doing several internships and worked for free so many times, just so she could beef up her knowledge and resume.

More than a stylist:

Actually, aside from being a stylist and consultant to the stars, she is also a fashion PR agent. She does represent fashion brands from time to time.

If not styling:

The stylist explained that if she wasn’t doing anything in fashion, she would be an actress: “When I was a child I flirted with the idea.” She said she always fancied the idea of being an Angelina Jolie type of actress, as she doesn’t like romance…”something blood churning, energy driven.”

Style star:

As far as stylish people who do not use a stylist, she mentions Temi dollface as having a “strong brand identity” and that she is stylish on her own. Also, she mentioned Mo’cheddah, as  she “looks good by herself and for herself.”
