Introducing new online lifestyle show!

Now, we’re starting off the Pulse Lifestyle Podcast with a discussion of the best and gritty parts of the industry as it affects the consumer, the industry, and all the stakeholders.

Now, we’re kicking off the Pulse Lifestyle Podcast with, a discussion of the basic and essential clothing pieces for every man’s wardrobe, especially in Nigeria.

The first of the podcasts on Pulse Lifestyle are focused on the essentials, on which you can build upon. Here are the five items:

Crisp white shirt:

A crisp white shirt is a staple in every man’s wardrobe. It can be dressed up in a suit for example or dressed down with a pair of denim pants. It is the epitome of true class and style. Make sure it is well tailored too.

Brown leather watch:

This is a great statement piece. Black may seem like the safer and more neutral color but it can often come off as too basic. Thus, brown is a more lively and neutral color that can be paired with other colors.

Blue suits:

Blue suits are the new cool! The modern man is looking for something more vibrant than the black or grey suit and the deep blue suit is the way to go. It is a way to wear a cool and versatile color that also pops. Make sure to check the fit in the shoulders, arms, torso and length.

Blue denim pants:

Otherwise known as blue jeans, this is the essence of the modern cool man. It has been a staple in the man’s closet for decades and continues to be in its many forms. I would suggest a well fitted, tailored version.

Black oxford shoes:

This is the crown on any man’s style effort. The black oxford are the stylish shoes you often see on the feet of men, especially in white collar jobs or on the red carpet. They are simply a classic to own.

Over the next week, we’ll roll out more podcasts from the Pulse Lifestyle desk. Then we’ll have interview episodes from the Pulse TV shows, and give you a better mobile experience of the magic of Pulse.
