Fast rising TV host, Nancy Isime of Hip TV’s 'Trending' stopped by Pulse TV studio to chat about her acting and TV career and her new brand direction. The host is also buzzing right now with her new promo photos.  Here are four things we learned about Nancy:

On how Trending came to be:

According to the host, “At that time I was working at another TV station...I was the co-host for The Squeeze and What’s Hot. Then her cousin told her about Trending, she went for a screen test and a week after, got the job. “It's been a huge blessing.”

About the previous host, Toke:

The actress confessed, “I don’t think you can ever feel the shoes of Toke...she’s very determined and hardworking. She went on to say that she felt like Toke took the shoes with her. She also mentioned that she “never wanted to be another toke or try to outdo her...it’s now my turn to make the show what it is.”

On acting vs presenting:

The actress described the difference, saying, “acting is just being somebody else...presenting is you...presenting is your personality. She finally commented that  presenting is herself, while acting is make believe.

On her collaboration with Ifan:

Isime says that stylist and brand consultant, Ifan, “has an idea of who Nancy should be...left to me I am laid back...Ifan has the main idea toward branding this and making money out of this person.”
