2015 has been a year of some of the most innovative and creative designs and men’s footwear has not been left out. From the Yeezy boost to the Chelsea boots, men’s footwear has evolved and it is for this very reason we should let go of some ancient footwear designs.
Thus, here are five types of footwear men must leave behind in 2015:
Crocs: There is no reason why anyone should wear holes-infested neon foam sandals. The only thing they guarantee is being single. They are neither artistically or aesthetically pleasing. Instead try some low rise chuck Taylor converse shoes or toms.
Men’s Ugg boots: It’s unbelievable that these shoes even exist for men. No matter how comfortable the interior feels, they are not to be worn past your bedroom door. Rather, invest in some Nike sneaker boots, that are both stylish and efficient.
Wincklepickers: If you don’t know what i’m talking about, refer to the picture above. It’s those ugly looking things that seem like they belong on the feet of witches and wizards from the medieval periods. Don’t do it! Try out some simple round-toed shoes instead.
Unlaced biker boots: Once upon a time, these shoes were all the rave. They represented the randy, life-on-the-edge biker guy who every good girl wanted to date. However, not so much these days, guys are getting level headed so try som classic Chelsea boots.
Vibram 5 fingers: I don’t think there’s any man who initially saw these shoes and didn’t think it was a huge joke. It not only looks weird like alien weird, it feels weird and makes you self conscious. Let’s just stick to sneakers and life will be alright.
Add the decision never to wear any of these shoes again to your new year resolution and let us know which is your absolute worst.
