Marc Jacobs started a trend in April 2014 casting faces/models off Instagram with the hashtag #CastMeMarc that got well over a whopping 70,000 submissions! where models finally chosen were featured in the Marc by Marc Jacobs Fall 2014 campaign, if you missed that check it here.

The brand recently announced another social media-cast for the second time where  again models were chosen off an Instagram competition as against the normal casting through individual agencies, this affords almost anyone who gets lucky the opportunity of  lifetime. Major brands including DKNY and W Magazine have scouted for new talents through the same platform.
