Luxury leather goods brand FemiHandbags present the first ever Lagos Leather Fair in Lagos.

The event set for 2nd to 4th of June 2017 will hold at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos and will bring together a host of leather designers, manufacturers, tanners, retailers, machinery and accessories suppliers.

The Lagos Leather Fair pioneered by Femi Olayebi of FemiHandbags is set to uncover the untapped potential within the Nigerian leather industry. Leather, alongside ten other products has been identified as having great financial value capable of replacing oil in the Nigerian economy.

The event is designed to discuss the current challenges, and identify possible innovative solutions that will enhance the industry. In line with the Made in Nigeria initiative, the fair also seeks to promote leather designers, provide training for artisans and ultimately improve the quality of finished products.
