Popular American rapper, Kendrick Lamar has collaborated with athletic clothing company, Reebok, on a new pair of sneakers, in an announcement by Sneakers.fr

Popular American rapper, Kendrick Lamar has collaborated with athletic clothing company, Reebok, on a new pair of sneakers, in an announcement by Sneakers.fr.

The rapper follows in the footsteps of other international celebrities such as Kanye West, Michael Jordan and Lebron James.

According to HipHopDX, the shoe, which displays light gray suede on the outside, has a couple like features as last year’s shoe named ‘The Ventilator’.

The Blue and Red shoe have blue and red insoles, respectively, with each insole tagged with the Top Dawg Entertainment and Kendrick Lamar logo.

The inside tongue was branded with the word, ‘Neutral’ in reference to the Crips and Blood gangs in Los Angeles. Each purchase will be accompanied by two pairs of shoelaces, one gray set and one with blue and red details.

The shoe design looks quite minimal and practical, keeping a classic feel that will work well with any age group, gender or environment, which is quite nice.

The shoe is set for a January 16 release. The price will most likely be €90, which is approximately 20 thousand.

This year has already started off on a fantastic note for Kendrick with his major Grammy noms. We wish him the best at the awards and in the future.
