Menswear fashion brand, JZO, is giving us major summer vibes with their shorts from their ‘Aremo’ Dry/Harmattan ‘16 collection.
Ever since JZO burst on the scene, the designing duo, Joseph O. Ike and Olamide E. Akindeinde have taken the menswear fashion scene by storm with their African inspired outfits.
They already released their ‘Aremo’ collection which featured a number of traditional jackets, with a hint of symmetry, and lapel features, sheer linen shirts, hand embroidered and handwoven aso oke shorts, trousers and blazers.
Now, we get to see the summer shorts by in a new editorial titled, “Aremo“, which could come in very handy during this relaxed, love and festive season. The editorial is inspired by the modern day struggle of the African male to adopt a contemporary style while retaining his traditional identity.
You can also see the shorts on the recent issue of Genevieve magazine, with RMD, Timi Dakolo and Ik Osakioduwa.
Check out the editorial above and let us know what you think.
