If you have to dress for the beach, it's best you dress for comfort as you are going to be basking in the sun!
Alright alright! So its another sunny day and you and your friends are trying to get to Lekki Leisure lake or Elegushi, or maybe even Ilashe.
One’s gotta look good of-course! If you have to dress for the beach, it's best you dress for comfort as you are going to be basking in the sun!
So I had a look on Jumia and found a host of outfits that would be just right. Here are ideas on what to wear to the beach:
The Perfect Top:
The Perfect top in my opinion would be a nice cotton sleeveless tank, or a top with light fabric as the weather would lean towards the hot side. And also…you need that ‘flowing in the wind’ effect when you are walking on by *wink*
Good Old Shorts:
Abi, do you want to wear full-fledged denim? Lol. A pair of shorts is everyone’s beach uniform. What I’ll like to call a beach staple.
Some Shade From The Sun:
And what else would serve as better shade other than a nice pair of sunglasses and big beach hat?! Nothing else if you ask me…
I know, as Nigerians a lot of us don’t use this, maybe because of the melanin, black don’t crack right? Wrong! Protect your skin from the sun by slapping on some sunscreen, especially for our gorgeous girls always worried about uneven skin tone. Sunscreen (depending on the SPF) would do you a wealth of good.
Sandals or slippers are just the thing you need. I’ll advice against covered shoes or sneakers because sand is 99.9% likely to get in your shoes and make you very uncomfortable. You don’t want that do you?
Not that we will advice you to take a full on dive into the ocean lol. But a little saunter in the waters never hurt anyone, where else is bikini more suitable?!
A Smile and a Camera
Because you need to have a jolly good time and make some memories!!
