Find out what really happened with her Golden Globes gown

Remember that gorgeous red cutout Dior gown Jennifer Lawrence wore to the 2016 Golden Globes? Well, that wasn’t her first choice. Here’s what really happened.

Jennifer Lawrence for Harper's Bazaar magazine

Jennifer Lawrence, who just graced the cover ofHarper's Bazaar's May issue in Dior Haute Couture, talked about her successful contract with the fashion house.

In the actress's chat with editor Laura Brown, Jennifer discloses her new relationship with fashion, which started when she turned 25 and she realized her personal style.

Now, she buys herself pieces on the regular, like a "pair of earrings. “I don't have a boyfriend, so I have to do that sh*t on my own."

However, what really excited us is Lawrence's note about the red cutout Dior gown she wore to the 2016 Golden Globes:

"That was my plan-B dress. Plan A was a dress that I couldn't wear because awards season is synced with my menstrual cycle, and it has been for years. [The red design] was loose at the front. And I didn't have to worry about sucking anything in. The other dress was really tight, and I'm not going to suck in my uterus. I don't have to do that."

Go down memory lane as you check out how well J Law rocked her column sheath on the carpet. Don’t forget to drop your thoughts and opinions in the comment section below. Meanwhile, watch the trailer for her new coming out soon.
