International World Miss University Contest Reigning World Miss University Nigeria to represent Nigeria at this year's pageant

The Reigning World Miss University Nigeria (WMUN) 2015, Miss Anita Asianya, is set to represent Nigeria at the International World Miss University Contest.

The contest is slated for January 27, and will be taking place at the Xiamen international Conference Center, Beijing, China.

Miss Asianya, who is a Final year, Industrial Chemistry student of The University of Benin, is already blazing the trail as she prepares for the contest.

The contest is an international beauty contest held annually in  since 1986, with an average of about 70 contestants from all over the World. 

The contest, a celebration of beauty and intellect, which strives to spread the message of love and peace around the world by appointing a public service delegation yearly, among outstanding female university students.

WMU is one of the four most prominent international pageants, alongside Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss World.

World Miss University is the sole United Nations and International Association of University Presidents pageant which is dedicated to promote world peace and the importance of international relationships.

Anita Asianya has already emerged as the contestant with the best presentation at the World Peace and Economy Forum held in Perking University popularly called Beijing University in China, which was attended by 60 other contestants from all over the world.

The president, Temidayo L. Kafaru, revealed during a statement that Nigerian delegates have never emerged below the 5th position at the international stage of the pageant.
