Catch street styles, backstage fittings at LFDW 2016 day 1

Catch day 1 highlights with style lovers/enthusiasts, bloggers and backstage on day 1 of the 2016 LFDW

Pulse TV spoke to style lovers/enthusiasts, bloggers and caught backstage actions before the models went on the runway in pieces from brands showcasing that day including Belois Couture, Style Temple, Titi Belo, About That Curvy Life Collective with Ma Bello Clothiers, Tobi Ogundipe, Assian, Aisha Abu-BakR, Makioba.

T.I Nathan also showcased, Rayo, Kinabuti, Tokyo James, Onalaja, Sisiano, Lanre Da Silva and DZYN all showing their new collection.

Belois Couture opened the show with a collection of fluid, chic and flirty pieces taking on burst of colours in red, pink, yellow, orange for the good show put on display. Wanger Ayu showcased a collection of artsy, modern meets unique chic collection rousing the crowd when singer Waje gave a performance before the designer took her bow.

Style Temple was easily the best showcase of the night! The pieces off the collection were crafted sophisticated chic, no single thing was out of place in the exquisite collection that had people applauding every single time a model came out in any of the pieces.

Titi Belo had an impressive collection, making a favourite right after Style Temple. Divine Endowments brought on a lacklustre showcase with a show of African Prints! Latasha Ngwube of About That Curvy Life Collective collaborated with Ma Bello Clothiers, Tobi Ogundipe, Assian, Aisha Abu-BakR, Makioba presenting collections for plus size ladies in different styles.

T.I Nathan opened the show with sporty looks that transitioned into well tailored tuxedos in vibrant colours. T.I Nathan played with clean cut lines and bold colours for the collection. Rayo brought on a nomadic rustic feel to the runway. Kinabuti showcased urban designs collaborating with sneaker brand; Keek.

Rayo had a dramatic showcase with Tokyo James taking on perfect tailoring, wild details and drama, Onalaja showcased new collection with Sisiano breaking a record of designer of the night with the most collection featuring detailed, chic looks.

Lanre Da Silva Ajayi presented a collection of embellished designs for Vlisco with DZYN closing with an impressive display. Get all the highlights if you missed day 1 of the 2016 LFDW.
