TV host, style star opens up to Pulse like never before

TV host, Bolanle Olukanni has come a long way since she first moved back to Nigeria, from Moments to On The Red Carpet with Bolinto. Bolanle opens up like never before in an exclusive interview with Pulse TV:

 

Adventurous childhood:

Bolanle’s dad worked in the ministry of foreign affairs and so they always had to move around. The beautiful lady confessed, she loved “always being the new kid...always had to introduce myself to people.” In addition, she mentioned that they would go on trips instead of getting gifts during holidays.

The seasoned presenter confessed that she wasn’t the best on , the reality showed organized to chose the co-hosts for the then, However, she is grateful for the opportunities, as she has learned a lot and grown.

Her workout secret:

Two words…’Moi-Moi’. That’s not all though, Bolanle also has periods when she is faithful with her exercises. Overall, she tries as much as possible to cut out sugars from her diet. But she loves ‘Moi-Moi’ because it is high in protein with no sugars and fat.

Girl Power:

In talking about the people she looks up to in the industry, she mentioned a few names who all happened to be ladies. She described actress, Dakore Akande as being; “really kind, down to earth, grounded”, media mogul, Biola Alabi as being “open and honest”, Bola Balogun as being “honest and blunt but in the nicest way.” She also credited Toke Makinwa as helping her with social media branding and Mo’ Abudu for having a  job.

Humanitarian:

Many people only know the glam and TV side to Bolanle but she is also an avid humanitarian. While she served in Ekiti during her NYSC year, she got inspired to start the Girls for the future project, helping girls see the importance of an education. In addition she hopes to start a sustainable project for widows in her hometown with the help of her dad.
