Fashion house produces 'Top 15 Emerging designers in 2015' series

The BlackNBold Fashion House is coming up with series. The series is aimed at promoting and recognizing Nigerian designers who are doing well in their field. The series started in 2013, and the fashion house has since produced three successful upcoming designers’ series that have been spotlighted on huge blogs and magazines in Nigeria.

Since its inception, the series has expanded from its original ‘Top Ten Emerging Designers” to “Top 15 Emerging Designers in 2015”. The increase is a good sign, as the fashion industry has enlarged between 2014 and 2015.

The aim of the Top 15 Emerging Designers is to encourage, promote and celebrate amazing young designers who have been able to stand out. The designers are selected by a council of fashion elders who go through designers and eventually come to a conclusive last 15.

The members of the council comprise of a fashion elder from Genevieve magazine, Complete Fashion Magazine, OloriSupergal.com, Goldmyne, Stylevitae.com, 360 nobs, Pulse.ng, Sharonojong.com and other individual elders.

The members of the council send in their top 15 names and the most repeated fifteen names were reviewed and finally contacted. The top 15 designers will be officially revealed and awarded during the BlackNBold Man of the Year and Woman of the Year award ceremony in Lagos.
