Find out all the scoop on pop queen's biggest venture yet
After all the hype , rumors of a new ‘B6’ album, and the restless nights from the Beyhive, the pop queen has finally unveiled an activewear line, titled ‘Ivy Park’, named after her daughter Blue Ivy.
It all started yesterday with Elle USA’s Instagram page dropping a Beyonce photo every hour for 25 hours and fans were going crazy trying to figure out what the countdown was about.
In the last hour, Beyonce released a photo of herself in a leotard from 'Ivy Park' clothing line and a little background check revealed that the @wewearivypark Instagram page also debuted at the final hour of the countdown.
The website released a statement saying, “Ivy Park is merging fashion-led design with technical innovation. Creating a new kind of performance wear: modern essentials for both on and off the field.”
The brand is in partnership with Sir Philip Green, the chairman of Arcadia Group, which owns Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge, and other retailers. The official Ivy Park website is littered with so much of Beyonce photos, as she models the clothes herself and apparently offers snippets from her upcoming music album.
Ivy Park items will be available for purchase April 14. We're not sure whether or not #B6 will arrive on the same day though. Check out the promo photos and watch the video below. Then, let us know what you think of the collection and if you’ll be copping them.
