All dressed in white in line with the theme of the event, bloggers gathered together with special guests like Chiamaka Obuekwe (The Social Prefect Tour), Akin Faminu, Deola Adebiyi (OmogeMura), Toyosi Gregory Jonah (Desire1709) and Sharon Ojong (fashion consultant & stylist).
The event hosted by TBP Assistant creative director, Demi Akinfenwa started with an ice breaker event called "Find the blogger" then followed up with a quick brief of The Blogger Point aims, goals and plans for the upcoming years by the founder, Maryam Salam.
The seminar discussion titled "Bridging the gap between bloggers and brands" started with blogging tips from guests with three major advice given that bloggers should know their values in the industry, stay consistent and make sure their statistics are accurate and defendable.
Finally, all the guests agreed that all bloggers must be committed and dedicated to building a sustainable blogging journey that can transform into a business. Things to avoid doing as a new blogger is starting a blogging without passion for blogging.
Speaking on collaboration with brands, Sharon Ojong advised guests to "Approach brands nicely with values and substance, Make sure the brand's target audience matches your target audience".
Chiamaka Obuekwe as well noted that bloggers should make sure they are working with brands that can add values to their personal brand and profile.
The event was wrapped up with a free networking time for bloggers to mingle and connect with each other, followed by the goody-bags allocation and pictures.
