On Saturday, 14 June 2014, 2Face Idibia held the listening session for his 6 album THE ASCENSION. The star-studded event took place at Ariz Bar and Grill in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Celebrities come out to support Tuface at his upcoming album listening session 'The Ascension'
Top players in the music industry were given the opportunity to listen and give feedback about the songs off the highly anticipated album. Entertainment industry heavyweights such as Kenny Ogungbe, DJ Jimmy Jatt, Olisa Adibua of Beat FM, Kwame of Nigezie and Ayeni Adekunle were amongst the VIP guests present at the private pre-release listening session. Personalities such as Tosyn Bucknor, Omalicha, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Noble Igwe were also present .The event was hosted by Andre Blaze.
2Face spoke passionately about the album as he expressed extreme gratitude to all the guests who took time out of their busy schedules to listen to the yet to be released songs.
