On September 13, 2014, Nollywood actress Monalisa Chinda lend her voice to Slum2School Africa
The well-attended walk saw over 550 celebrities, volunteers and children participate in Slum2School Africa's Charity fund raising Walk which held in Lekki Lagos to support the education of 1000 children living in slums and remote communities in Nigeria and build mentorship hubs to facilitate community educational development.
The walk attracted several other peronalities including AY, Alibaba, Julius Agwu, Ufuoma Ejenobor, Timi Dakolo, Ibinabo Fiberesima, Tonye Cole, Segun Arinze and so many others. Monalisa Chinda was also appointed a Slum2School Africa's Ambassador also celebrated her birthday with the children/volunteers and pledged to support 200 children as part of the #1000Dreams campaign.
