At The 64th edition of the Miss World pageant, held this Sunday December 14th, 2014 at ExCeL London in London, UK. 2013 Miss Word Megan Young of the Philippines crowned her successor and winner of the 2014 competition, Rolene Strauss of South Africa at the end of the event in which 121 contestants competed for the crown.

At The 64th edition of the Miss World pageant, held this Sunday December 14th, 2014 at ExCeL London in London, UK.
Although Miss Nigeria didn’t make it amongst the 25 countries in the final round of the competition which included Bolivia, China PR, Brazil, Dominican Republic, England, Mexico, Guyana, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Sudan, Vietnam, Finland, Ghana, Kenya, Netherland, Philippines, Sweden, South Africa, United States, Australia, Russia, Scotland and Trinidad & Tobago, we are still proud that an African won the crown making it the third time in the history of the competition.
Runner up was Miss Hungary, Edina Kulcsar, while Miss United States, Elizabeth Safrit came third (second runner up) in the contest.
