The second edition of the ‘Hurdle Race’ summit will be holding on November 12, 2016 at Speedspace, Park View, Ikoyi.

This year’s edition themed 'Awaken Your Passion' (AYP) is aimed at inspiring youths in our communities to achieve their purpose in life. Speakers include, Cobhams Asuquo, Dami Oluwatoyinbo, Adaora Mbelu, Tosin Osinowo and Tunji Lana.

To make it intriguing, the Summit will also include leadership panelists who will speak on topics like:

- Setting motion and strategizing for the hurdles

- The art of focus and regeneration during the race

- Gearing for the finished line

At the end of the panel session, there would be a 10mins session involving the pitch sessions of 5 individuals who have been carefully selected to pitch their products to the panelists (acting as judges) and the audience.

Big Idea: The pitch session creates an overview of how to pitch to investors and the prospective clients. We created this platform to encourage startups to understand the posture of pitching and selling ideas to a competitive market.

At the end of the 10mins pitch session, the panelists would constructively view the areas which the pitcher missed and point areas to improve on. The best pitcher would be selected based on posture, content and market value and an award would be presented.
