It was the celebrity team against the combined team of football players from twitter, who played against each other to keep children in school.

Lynxxx, Timi, Bez, SolidStar, Omobaba, Elenu, Akpororo, Mr. Raw, Oye, Senator, Dotu, Nedu, Oscar, Funny bone, Bash, Sensey, others all filled up against the Twitter Premier League squad for the Football For A Cause charity match.

The match was played on Sunday 12th, October, 2014 at the University of Lagos Sports Center, Yaba, Lagos State.

This blend of football, entertainment and philanthropy is another project of the StayInSchoolng Initiative which hopes to raise money to place 400 disadvantaged children in school with the aim of bridging the evident gap in the country’s education sector. StayInSchoolng currently supports 200 children across 8 primary schools and recently held a fundraiser to provide best graduating students under the SiSNG umbrella secondary school scholarships.

It was a memorable one to all who attended, The comedians, Nedu, Akpororo, Funny Bone all cracked jokes and there were performances from Dizzy Mbata and SolidStar to round up the event.
