Comedy/crime-heist thriller, Ojukokoro to premiere at March edition

This edition which will play host to the award winning all-star cast crew of the movie will hold on Thursday, March 9th, 2017 at Genesis Deluxe Cinemas, The Palms, Lekki Lagos.

The gripping movie, written and directed by Dare Olaitan and produced by Olufemi. D. Ogunsanwo, boasts of an amazing cast which includes Wale Ojo, Ali Nuhu, Tope Tedela, Somkele Idalama, Linda Ejiofor, Zainab Balogun, Hafiz Oyetoro (Saka) and Seun Ajayi.

Other acts in the movie include Emmanuel Ikubese, Kayode Olaiya, Gbolahan Olatunde. Kunle Remi, Sammi Eddi, Lord Frank and Shawn Faqua.

“Ojukokoro" was inspired by the state of events in Nigeria during 2014 elections with the general state of greed in the nation due to the upcoming elections. It is an ensemble cast movie that deals primarily with a heist, which is an avenue that is rarely explored in Nollywood Cinema.

Ojukokoro, a Yoruba word, translated as greed in English language is set to raise the bar in filmmaking in Nigeria and will be showing at Genesis Cinemas nationwide from 17th March.

"Ojukokoro" movie is a story of a money-strapped manager of a money laundering petrol station who decides to rob the petrol station that employs him but along the line finds out that that he is not alone in his ambition. The movie teaches that there are many different kinds of criminals and a good reason isn’t always a right one.

Nolly Thursdays will air on TrybeTv (GoTVngCh.97) by 5:30pm and ONTV (UHF Ch.41, GoTV Ch.96) by 7:30pm
