Movie stars and other authorities came together to enlighten students on rape and how they can avoid it
Tonto Dikeh, Desmond Elliot, Mr. Ade Ipaye (Attorney General and Commisioner for Justice Lagos State), Mrs Omotola Rotimi (Director, Office of the Public Defender), Valentina Peter-Nkwo (Mirabel Center), CSP Monday Agbonika, others were all present at the Adeyemi Bello Hall, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja, Lagos State on Wednesday February 18, 2015 to sensitize, enlighten, encourage and educate primary and secondary school students in Lagos state on Rape.
College Acquaintance Rape Education (C.A.R.E) is a follow up plan for the annual Walk Against Rape Campaign; a special demonstration that brings together Mothers, Guardians, Fathers, Teachers Youth advocates, Activist, Faith based Organizations, NGO’s, CSO’s, Student Delegates, Actors, Actresses, Sport Men, Media Practitioners, Musicians, DJs and Comedians together to lend a voice to sexually abused persons in the society and also encourage victims to speak out and reduce the stigmatization attached to Rape.
