The best home remedy for hair loss

Hair loss occurs usually as a result of poor lifestyle habits from the food we eat all the way to overall haircare but this simple home remedy tackles hair loss and works.

Hair loss is never attractive and unless it presents itself in a serious medical condition  then this homemade Onion juice and honey recipe works perfectly.

Studies show onion juice contains sulfur that is extremely useful in treating hair loss. The sulfur content stimulates hair follicles thereby promoting hair growth/regrowth and also improves blood circulation.

Onion juice is also reported to tackle dandruff and scalp infections as well as reverse premature graying. While Honey is loaded with moisture and anti oxidants that keeps the hair smooth and shiny.

Here is how to make onion juice and honey treatment for hair loss

You need:

Honey

1 onion

A blender

A strainer

A bowl

An essential oil of your choice -if you are not a huge fan of the onion smell (optional)

Step 1

Peel the onion but to avoid tearing while cutting the onion, put it in the freezer for about 15 minutes then chop and blend the onion.

Step 2

Put the blended pulp in a strainer. Using a spoon, press the pulp to extract the juice.

Step 3

Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of honey to the onion juice.

Step 4

Optionally, add a few drops of an essential oil ,lemon juice or rose water to mask the the smell of the onion.

Direction:

Massage your bald portion or entire scalp with this mixture.

Cover your hair with a shower cap, leave on for about 20mins or overnight.

Rinse your hair.

Follow this hair loss treatment daily for a few months or until you are satisfied with the results.
