Michael B. Jordan for Men's Fitness mag

Star of the movie, Fruitvale Station and Fantastic Four, Michael B. Jordan, graces the cover of Men’s Fitness magazine in all of his 24 pound pure muscle weight gain glory.

The actor’s sexy transformation is due to his new role as title character in a Rocky spinoff Creed. Jordan who has grown from playing supporting roles in TV's The Wire and Friday Night Lights, to one of Hollywood’s most sought after leading men, talked about his fitness regimen for the movie.

Jordan explained in a behind-the-scenes clip that “Gaining 24 pounds of muscle for Creed was super intense”, he added, “Diet, exercise, sleep, consistency, then I went out and got the best trainer. He stayed every step of the way, everyday.”

In addition, the A-list actor said beefing up was more challenging than the boxing training because “I had to eat a bunch of stuff that I really didn’t enjoy.” Said diet included boiled chicken, broccoli, rice, fish and asparagus.

Finally, he thanked everyone who was a part of the process; “Had a great interview with David Katz,” the actor expressed through Instagram when displaying the cover. “Achieving my fitness goals & making it on the cover of @mensfitnessmag is an honor! @mrcalliet thank you for pushing me beyond my limits & showing me the results of what hard work & discipline can get you! We’re just getting started! #Creed.”
