Sister drops interesting news

Well, Zayn’s sister Doniya gave an insight into wedding plans and when the stars would work down the aisle.

Zayn Malik and ex Perrie Edwards

Zayn Malik, 22 parted ways with One direction, he and Perrie Edwards, 21, are now closer than ever. The engaged couple have been spending a ton of time together, and fans are wondering just when the hot couple will make their love official. Doniya Malik, 23,opened up all about Perrie in a new interview, and gave an insight into the rumors making rounds about “wedding talks.”

She said:  “I haven’t actually had any wedding talks with them yet. I’d say there’s a good couple of years left until that. We haven’t really spoken about it,” Doniya told Now! Magazine.

What? There’s a good couple of years until the wedding? We’re shocked and a little relieved!

Zayn and Perrie have been engaged since Aug. 2013, and though they’ve been inseparable since Zayn’s cheating allegations when he quit the band, it’s great that they’re not in a rush to tie the knot especially since Zayn left One Direction to be a “normal 22-year-old.”

Zayn and Perrie sparked major rumors that they had already wed in a secret ceremony in April, when Perrie’s BFF Cara Swan posted hints that she had attending their wedding. Fans were relieved to learn that Zayn wasn’t officially off the market just yet. When the time is right, we’ll be happy for Zayn and Perrie!

Doniya also opened up about Perrie saying:

“[Perrie’s] really nice. Her style’s very versatile, whereas I’m very girly. When it comes to girls’ things, [Zayn] lets us do it ourselves,” Doniya gushed about Perrie. We’re glad she approves!

She also added that Zayn is happy after leaving 1D.

“Yeah, he’s very happy,” she said. “He’s still the protective brother he’s always been.”
