Plane With 116 Passengers ‘Disappears’ Over Africa

The Air Algerie flight heading to Algeria from Burkina Faso is said to have disappeared from radar this morning

Barely 5 months after the disappearance of the Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 (MH370), another airplane is said to have vanished but this time in Africa.

The Air Algerie craft disappeared from radar about 50 minutes after it took off from Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso.

The records show that there was 110 passengers and 6 crew members and on board the McDonnell Douglas MD-83 plane which was headed to Algiers, Algeria’s capital.

The Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 disappeared in March this year on its way to China from Malaysia and till date no wreckage has been found; there were 239 people on board.
