Malam Abdullahi Yakubu, the council’s Information Officer, disclosed this on Saturday in Dutse.
Yakubu, who spoke on behalf of Malam Nasiru Zubairu, the Manager, National Programme on Immunization (NPI) in the area, said the council received enough doses of Oral Polio Vaccines (OPVs) for the exercise.
Yakubu said that the NPI manager attributed the success during the exercise to the support and cooperation of the department of Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) of the council.
According to him, the Head of the WASH, commended the local government council, traditional rulers and other stakeholders in the area for their support to the successful conduct of the exercise.
