Viral disease kills 5 more in Taraba
In a recent report, the Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo confirmed five more suspected Lassa fever deaths in Taraba state.

Adding the recent deaths, the total of Lassa fever related deaths in Taraba state is now 12.
In a related news, Attah Iliya, Head of Clinical services of the Federal Medical Center, Jalingo has confirmed that seven suspected Lassa fever patients left the hospital without proper treatments.

Iliya stated that 19 treated Lassa fever patients have been declared free from virus.
