L'Wren Scott willed her entire $9 million fortune to her long-term boyfriend, Rolling Stones front man, Mick Jagger to the obvious shock of her estranged sister, Jan Shane. The rock star who's reportedly a hundred million pounds rich then took her funeral to LA instead of her hometown Utah – this also pissed off sister Shane.
L'Wren Scott Wills $9Million Fortune To Boyfriend Mick Jagger, Sister Disagrees!
Here goes the family drama …
The late designer's sister, Shane has promised to fight the rock star with all she's got – but why exactly? L'Wrenleft everything - and we mean everything - to Mick, according to probate documents obtained by The New York Post on March 26 and specifically said in the will that she didn't want her brother, Randy Bambrough, or her estranged sister, Jan Shane, to get any money.
Reports say she feels cheated by Jagger after he opted to have the funeral of his long-time girlfriend moved to L.A, turning it into a 'media circus' and now she [Jan] can't do anything about where the body of her sister now rests. She has also vowed to take the fight right to Mick for a share of L’Wren’s fortune and to reclaim some priceless family heirlooms.
"He hijacked this funeral. Yes, he was with her for 13 years, but family is family, that's what it boils down to," Jan told Daily Mail.
Well, that’s not all. What really got Jan furious is the fact that her sister left everything to Mick, and in the process has robbed her immediate family of valuable heirlooms.
"I know after mum passed away, L’Wren took pictures away from the family home. They were my childhood, I want them back, I hate to think they’re gone forever — it's our memories of growing up," Jan said. "The Jagger family doesn't need them, they’re our memories from our childhood. She had things of mum’s that have no use for anyone else, but there’s some nieces and nephews that would want them."
L'Wren Scottdied by hanging at her New York apartment on Monday March 17.2014.
